Congress leader and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat also hinted at deeper political motives behind the resignation. “The abruptness of Dhankhar Ji’s resignation and its timing raise many questions. The reason behind it is significant, and only the Prime Minister or Jagdeep Dhankhar himself can clarify it,” he said.
Rawat further suggested that the choice of the next Vice President might be influenced by the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, indicating a strategic political move.
