New Delhi, July 29: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday addressed the Lok Sabha for 1 hour and 14 minutes during a detailed discussion on Operation Sindoor. At the outset of his speech, Shah informed the House that the three terrorists involved in the recent Pahalgam attack had been neutralized on July 28 under Operation Mahadev.

He identified the slain militants as Suleiman, Afghan, and Jibran, stating, “These are the terrorists responsible for the killing of 26 Indian tourists in the Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam.” Shah also presented evidence in the House to establish their involvement in the attack.

In addition to the neutralization of the terrorists, Shah confirmed the arrest of two individuals who had assisted them.

During his address, the Home Minister covered a wide range of topics including former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Manmohan Singh, as well as issues related to terrorism, Article 370, China, and Kashmir. He also referenced senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and P. Chidambaram. However, Shah made no mention of the United States, ceasefire agreements, or former U.S. President Donald Trump.

He also explained how Operation Mahadev was launched as a direct follow-up to Operation Sindoor.
