President Zardari, CM Bugti Condemn Attack, Blame TTP

President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attack and held the banned militant group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) responsible. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti also termed the explosion a terrorist act.

In a statement, CM Bugti said:”Following the blast, security forces launched an operation and killed four militants. Such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot shake our resolve. We stand with the families of the martyrs and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
