According to a police spokesperson, the seizure was carried out following a detailed investigation under FIR No. 48/2024, registered at Khanyar Police Station under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Arms Act. The investigation revealed that the property was acquired using funds generated through various sources to support terrorist and separatist activities in the region.
Over 700 Properties Linked to Anti-National Elements Seized
Authorities confirmed that nearly 700 properties belonging to anti-national elements have been attached so far. These include assets owned by top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Syed Salahuddin, Ul Umar commander Mushtaq Lataram, and incarcerated separatist leader Shabir Shah, currently lodged in Tihar Jail.

Systematic Effort to Dismantle Terror Infrastructure
The Jammu and Kashmir administration continues its campaign to dismantle the infrastructure supporting terrorism. This includes confiscating properties acquired through terror funding or used for terror-related activities. The crackdown extends to assets of deceased and active militants, overground workers (OGWs), and members of banned organizations such as Jamaat-e-Islami and JKLF.
According to officials, the strategy has proven effective, significantly deterring individuals who previously aided terrorists for financial gain. The campaign targets properties linked to fugitive terrorists and those directly involved in the terror funding network.
