Isreal-Iran War: Following Israel, Iran has also declared a ceasefire. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement announcing the decision. The statement said that Iran has forced the enemy to regret and surrender.
Iran has denied launching any fresh attacks on Israel on Tuesday. In a statement to the state television, the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces rejected reports that missiles were fired at Israel in the past few hours.
Earlier in the day, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel on the 12th day of the conflict, at 7:48 AM. At 10:38 AM, he made another post, stating:
“The ceasefire is effective immediately. Please do not break it.” Donald Trump
After Trump’s announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also declared a halt to military operations. He said that the Israeli army had achieved its objectives.
However, about two and a half hours after the ceasefire began, Israel accused Iran of launching a missile attack.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the military to respond. He instructed the forces to carry out a strong strike on Tehran. Despite this, there have been no confirmed reports of any new Iranian attacks after the ceasefire.
